Why "Old Crest".
A crest is the high point of a hill — and a heraldic mark of identity. Both meanings sit at the heart of this firm.
We took the name Old Crest Group to signal two things we believe capital should be: elevated and enduring, like an old hill that has watched the landscape change for centuries; and distinct and principled, like a mark that stands for something specific and is not lent out lightly.
The firm was formed to bring patient, owner-aligned capital to established companies — and to offer the kind of confidential, senior counsel that founders and families too often can't find. We are headquartered in London, with a regional presence in the Gulf, and we work with companies and principals across the UK, Europe and the UAE.
We do not chase volume. A small number of relationships, held deeply and for the long term, is the whole model.

By choice, we don't publish a roster of named partners or headshots. Many of our engagements are sensitive, and our clients' confidentiality extends to how we present ourselves. What we can tell you is the kind of experience around the table: decades of investing, operating and advising, across the UK, Europe and the Gulf.
